Virginia to receive $773,000 in tourism grant funding

The state of Virginia is set to receive $773,000 worth of tourism grants. Secretary of Commerce and Trade Maurice Jones along with state legislators will unveil the recipients in Richmond on Wednesday. These grants come from Virginia tourism corp’s leveraging program and are intended to help boost tourism throughout the state. Tourism grants along with local contributions adds up to $3 million total in new marketing.
