Use the Big Dipper..
You can use the Big Dipper as a tool to spot the North Star, Polaris. The Big Dipper is not a constellation. It is actually called an “asterism” which means it is a bunch of stars that form a very recognizable pattern in the sky. If you look at the two stars that are at the end of the Big Dipper’s bowl, those stars point in the direction of the North Star which shines very brightly.
