UPDATE: Wanted Smyrna man arrested in Newark

A man wanted by Police in Smyrna on attempted armed robbery charges, has been arrested. Smyrna Police say early Wednesday, members of the Delaware State Police Governors Task Force found 23-year-old Roy Kolaco, hiding out in a Newark area hotel.
Kolaco was arrested, and taken to the Smyrna Police Department, where he was arraigned on charges stemming from an October 31st, 2014 incident at an apartment on Peach Circle. Police say two men, one being Kolaco, went into the apartment, held a firearm to the victim’s head, and demanded money. The two eventually apparently fled, without getting anything from the apartment.
After his arrest on Wednesday, Kolaco was charged with attempted robbery 1st degree, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, aggravated menacing, and offensive touching. He is now being held at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $115,100 cash only bond.
