UPDATE: Three school buses involved in crash in Bridgeville

Rumors of possible lawsuits against the Woodbridge School District are now circulating after a multi-bus crash in Sussex County.
Delaware State Police tell 47 ABC they were called around 4:00 PM, Thursday afternoon, to respond to West Newton Road near Adams Road and found three school buses had collided.
John Marinucci, the Director of Administrative Services of Woodbridge Middle School, told 47 ABC the bus crash was a result of icy conditions. The first bus reportedly stopped, causing the other two to crash.
The bus drivers were uninjured and we’re told none of them will be facing charges.
Marinucci says all three buses were loaded with students. 16 students were hospitalized. 10 went to Nanticoke Memorial, and five were sent to PRMC.
The students taken PRMC were treated for “very minor injuries,” and released before 7 p.m. Thursday, according to PRMC spokesman Roger Follebout.
The remaining students were sent to Woodbridge Middle School where they were picked up by their parents. Emergency responders tell 47 ABC that parents coming to pick up their kids were “calm and collected”.
A school transportation supervisor responded to the scene of the crash to identify the students who went to the hospitals, who then relayed the information to a school administrator. That person then notified the parents of those children.
A paramedic tells 47 ABC, they overhead parents saying they plan to sue the school district.
