UPDATE: Power restored after morning outage in Salisbury

Delmarva Power’s website shows no more outages after over 2,800 Salisbury residents were without power Monday morning.

A Delmarva Power official said around 7:15 AM on Monday, crews responded to the area of Old Ocean City Road and Zion Church Road for power outages effecting about 2,843 residents. Officials say the mass outage was caused by some wires bring down.

There is still no word yet on how the wires came down in the first place.
