UPDATE: Convicted Wicomico County fentanyl dealer sentenced

A Wicomico County man who was found with drugs during a traffic stop, has been sentenced, again.

On Friday, 31-year-old Irving Jones III, of Salisbury, was sentenced to a total of 35 years of incarceration, with the first 10 years to be served without the possibility of parole, and none of his sentence suspended.

Jones was convicted back in January of possessing fentanyl, xanax, and marijuana with the intent to distribute the drugs, after being found with more than $1,000, a digital scale, and various bags of drugs during a traffic stop in June 2014.

Jones had previously been convicted of possessing heroin for distribution in 2010, leading to his subsequent offender status playing a part in Friday’s sentencing.
