Truck overturns on Dorchester County roadway

A Tri-Gas and Oil truck overturned on Maiden Forest Road in Dorchester County Tuesday morning just before 9:15 AM.

A hazmat crew along with Dorchester EMS arrived following the truck overturning.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office tells 47 ABC that the driver of the truck was transported to Dorchester General as a precaution and apparently didn’t suffer any injuries.

We’re also told that icy roads were to blame for the incident.

Authorities also say that Maiden Forest Road was shut down for 3 hours following the truck overturning.
