SU Baseball Stays Perfect, Downs Va. Wesleyan

The Salisbury University baseball team stayed perfect on the season defeating Va. Wesleyan 6-5. The win improves the Sea Gulls to 2-0. 

SU would jump out to a quick lead plating three runs in the first three innings. The Marlins came back with a 2 run homer in the 4th, but SU answered with 2 more in the bottom of the 5th. The lead proved to be too much for the Marlins to overcome. The teams would then take the field for game two of the double header, but knotted up at 7-7, the game would be postponed due to darkness.

Salisbury University returns to action Monday when they travel to Va. Wesleyan.
