PRMC installs free cellphone charging stations in ER and Outpatient Lab

A local hospital is trying to make a tough time easier for both patients and visitors by enabling all of their devices to be charged.

Peninsula Regional Medical Center says they have installed free cellphone charging stations in both the Emergency Department and the Outpatient Lab waiting room inside the Frank B. Hanna Outpatient Center.

Each unit features 12 cords with can apparently accommodate nearly every kind of gadget on the market, fully charging devices in just seven minutes.

Officials say it all started after they installed a unit in the Centre at Salisbury Food Court, back in September. There are reportedly plans for addition station locations within the Medical Center, in the future.
