Pocomoke Girls Roll Past Delmar

The Pocomoke girls basketball rolled past Delmar Tuesday afternoon 58-24. The win improves the Warriors to 13-4, while the loss drops the Wildcats to 4-12. 

The Warriors would jump out to the quick lead led by Dynaisha Christian. The junior was dominate on both ends of the court, quickly finding her way to double figures. She would continue her great play and by halftime she had already recorded 25 points, finishing twith 29. The Wildcats never gave up, and the second half Carly Covington would find the shooting touch from the outside on her way to 10 points. But the lead proved to be too much as the Warriors would hold on for the wain. 

Delmar returns to action Thursday when they host Laurel, while Pocomoke returns to the court Wednesday when they host Crisfield.
