Pocomoke Gets Bounce Back Win Vs. Parkside
Pocomoke boys basketball got their bounce back win Thursday night when they traveled to Salisbury and took down Parkside 76-69. The win improves the Warriors to 15-3, while the loss drops the Rams to 14-4.
The teams would be in a battle early on and head to the break with Pocomoke holding a 39-25 lead. The Warriors continued to push in the third quarter, stretching the lead to 18. Parkside would make a run in the games final quarter, and get within 8, but the lead would prove to be too much. Parkside was led by Juwan Williams’s 17 points, while Dajour Diggs chipped in 14 and Gary Briddell and Colen Gaynor both had 12. Pocomoke was paced by Jameel Bladwin’s 20 points, while Dajour Mills had 17 points and Raymir Smith
Pocomoke returns to action Tuesday when they travel to Queen Anne’s while Parkside hits the court Tuesday when they travel to Colonel Richardson.
