Parkside Cruises By Crisfield

The Rams of Parkside High School got huge contributions from their bench in a 71-26 win over Crisfield High School Friday night.

Parkside held a 18-5 advantage after one quarter, and held a 37-10 lead at the break. Colen Gaynor led the Rams with a game-high 11 points in the first half. With Rams starters only playing about 15 minutes in the game, the Parkside bench began to work.

Guard Xavier Waters scored 13 of his game-high 15 points in the fourth quarter, with freshman guard Johntue Wise adding 7 in a reserve role. In all, every bench player scored for Parkside, with the unit coming up with 38 of the 71 total points.
Dequante White led Crisfield with 9 points on the night.

Parkside has perhaps its biggest game this season coming up on Tuesday, February 10th, when they take the less than 5 minute trip over to Wicomico. The winner of the contest will more than likely win the Bayside South conference.The Rams erased a 20 point fourth quarter deficit to beat the Indians 81-75 on January 8th. Crisfield is back in action on Thursday, February 12th when they travel to Snow Hill.
