NAACP’s Roslyn Brock talks “courage” with SU students

Salisbury University celebrated Black History Month Tuesday by welcoming the National NAACP Board of Directors Chair Roslyn Brock, as their keynote speaker for their annual celebration.
In 2010, Brock became the youngest chair of the NAACP’s National Board of Directors.
She tells 47ABC achieving that position took a lot of courage, which inspired her message to SU students today.
She says courage is a very important quality to have especially for young people.
Brock says,”Courage must not skip this generation. It’s so important for them in times in which we live to show activism and to speak up and have their voices heard about issues that are important to them.”
