Being cold doesn’t mean you’ll get the cold or flu. You need to be exposed to the viruses to get sick. However, health experts do say cold weather can lower your body’s ability to fight off illness.

Drinking Alcohol might make you feel warm because it rushes blood to your skin’s surface. However, it actually causes your blood vessels to dilate making your body lose heat faster.
