Milford Dumps Lake Forest, Takes Control Of Henlopen South

The Milford Buccaneers got a win in come from behind fashion over rival Lake Forest Friday night in Felton 69-64 in overtime.

Milford would lead 15-13 after the first quarter, but it would be Lake Forest leading 34-28. After taking a 53-40 lead into the fourth quarter, Lake could not hold the lead. Milford would run off 22 points in the fourth, holding the Spartans to just 9, and tying the game at 62 at the end of regulation. In overtime, the Bucs would hold Lake to just 2 points over four minutes, to take the 69-64 win.

Kevin Cannon led Milford with 14 points, while Damon Coleman pitched in 12. Aaron Ingram would pour in a game-high 15 for Lake in the loss.

Lake hosts Laurel in their final game of the season on Tuesday, February 17th, while Milford hosts Delmar on the same night.
