Kent County Rolls By Bohemia Manor

The Kent County Trojans took on the Bohemia Manor Eagles on Friday night at home in Worton, Maryland for the first round of playoffs. The Trojans are playing without one of their top players – Manuel Camper, due to being ruled out with a potential MCL sprain. Camper appeared to be walking around on his knee and despite a limp, he looked to be doing well. This is a huge loss for the Trojans, but the team has rallied behind him and has been playing great basketball.

In first half play, Kent County took control of the game and got the ball moving around using their big man, Tyree Sorrell, down low to get some easy points and to get some offense generating. Kent County was playing great basketball – looking solid on both sides of the ball. The athleticism and the fast pace of the game by the Trojans was too much for the Eagles to handle.

The Trojans took a commanding 59-37 lead in the first half alone, and came out just as hot in the second half. Sorrell was involved and was not only scoring buckets, but he was also getting big rebounds and put backs for the Trojans.

Shemar Turner also played great – moving the ball around and finding the bucket – and had the play of the game with a great no look pass – one you can see in the video above.

Kent County finishes out the game with a big win over Bohemia Manor, 97-63.
