Information sought on Sunday night shooting in Salisbury

Police in Salisbury say they are investigating reports of shots fire inside of a home on Shiloh Street.

Salisbury Police say on Sunday, around 10:25 PM, Officers responded to reports fired, and met with several witnesses who said that multiple shots had been fired inside of the home.

An investigation reportedly found that the victim was visiting friends at the home, and when they went to leave, the victim was immediately approached by the suspect, who was carrying a firearm. Police say the suspect chased the victim back into the home, where the suspect fired the gun multiple times.

The suspect then apparently fled the home on foot. There were no injuries reported during the incident.

A K-9 unit with the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene to track to suspect, but couldn’t locate them.
