Harvest Of Hope – An Outreach Of HALO Ministries

Harvest of Hope Gardens is being developed to

• Provide a flow of fresh produce to the HALO Café
• Serve as an outdoor classroom for the Café guests to learn gardening techniques
• Encourage healthy eating habits while experiencing the satisfaction of learning to provide for themselves through planting, maintaining and harvesting from the garden.

The HALO Café serves over 300 meals a day to the homeless, hurting and hungry in Salisbury. They also have an adjacent day room and limited number of overnight accommodations for women and children with nowhere to go.
