Gov. Hogan appoints Maryland State Police superintendent

Governor Larry Hogan has appointed William Pallozzi as the new superintendent of the Maryland State Police.

Hogan made the announcement Tuesday and says for twenty-five years, Pallozzi has risen through the ranks of state police.

Pallozzi started out as a trooper back in 1989. He held various leadership and supervisory positions. He has also been the chief of the Support Services Bureau.

Pallozzi’s appointment still needs Senate confirmation.
