Four arrested on drug charges in Millsboro

Four Sussex County residents are behind bars, after a several month long investigation into illegal drug sales in Millsboro.

Delaware State Police say on Monday, around 6:10 AM, the Sussex County Drug Task Force along with the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force and DSP’s Special Operations Response Team searched a home on Nora Lane, where they arrested four people. During the search, Police say 38-year-old Tyrone Adkins, 45-year-old Sheree Abdussalaam, 25-year-old Nathan Thompson, and 20-year-old Rashell Thompson, all of the Nora Lane, Millsboro address, were each taken into custody without incident.

Three hundred eighty six bags of heroin, totaling more than five and a half grams, along with .1 gram of cocaine, 4.9 grams of marijuana, a Suboxone strip, drug paraphernalia, over $2,200 in suspected drug money and a stolen .40 caliber handgun, with three fully loaded ammunition magazines, were all apparently found in the home.

Adkins was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, two counts of possession of a firearm/ammunition by a person prohibited, possession of a controlled substance – heroin, receiving a stolen firearm, conspiracy 2nd degree, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is now being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $50,200 cash bond.

Abdussalaam was charged with possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited who also possesses a controlled substance, maintaining a drug property, and conspiracy 2nd degree. She was later released on unsecured bond.

Both Thompsons were charged with possession of marijuana, Nathan Thompson was also charged with possession of heroin, while Rashell Thompson was additionally charged with possession of heroin. Both were later released on unsecured bond.
