Five indicted on attempted murder charges in Easton

Five men have been indicted on attempted murder charges in Talbot County.
Easton Police say back on November 13th, Officers were dispatched to Blake Street, for reports of an assault on the street. Once on scene, Police learned that there was someone at Easton Memorial Hospital, who had been stabbed.
During their investigation, Police say they found that a man was walking on Blake Street, when he got into an argument with 25-year-old Sean Cephus, of Easton. Police say Cephus along with 26-year-old Tyquawn Jackson, 24-year-old Tyrell Phillips, 24-year-old Tynell Phillips, all of Easton, and 26-year-old Travel Hayman, of Trappe, then attacked the man, and stabbed him multiple times in the head, neck, and back.
During the incident, Cephus was apparently stabbed in the face. Both the victim and Cephus were later released in the hospital.
Police say after a three month investigation, the five individuals were indicted by the grand jury on February 18th. Cephus and Jackson were charged with attempted 2nd degree murder, assault 1st and 2nd degree, reckless endangerment, dangerous weapon wear and carry, and conspiracy.
The other three, both Phillips’ and Hayman, were charged with assault 1st and 2nd degree, reckless endangerment, dangerous weapon wear and carry, and conspiracy. All five men are now being held without bond.
