Felton man arrested for Kent County home fire

After about a week long investigation the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office have arrested a Felton man for setting a Kent County home on fire.
Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office have arrested 29-year-old Joshua Boyer, for a fire that occurred on February 14. Reports say on that Saturday The Felton Fire Company responded to flames on the 1700 block of Willow Grove Road west of Camden just before 7:00 PM. When officials arrived the fire was reportedly extinguished quickly, with no injuries. The estimated cost of this fire is $5000.
During the investigation Deputy State Fire Marshals determined the fire was set inside the home by Boyer, who was temporarily living with the home owners.
On Monday the 23rd he was taken into custody and charged with felony arson and theft. He was later released after posting a $5300 bond.
