Feb. 20 – 3rd Annual Light of Literacy Awards Ceremony

The Friends are move forward with their spring events. Their 3rd Annual Light of Literacy Awards Ceremony will be held on April 9th at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center. 

The purpose of this event is to recognize individuals and organizations who promote literacy. By raising public awareness of their work, the Friends hope to multiply their efforts and the effect they have in the community. Past winners include: United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore’s Imagination Library, Horizons at the Salisbury School, PLB Comics and students from both Parkside and James M. Bennett High School.
