Dover Races Past Seaford

The Dover boys basketball team got a nice conference win Saturday afternoon when they took down Seaford 85-53 in Dover.

The Senators jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter, pushed by some hot shooting from guards Michael Douglas and Jordan Allen. Douglas hit three 3-pointers in the first eight minutes, as Dover took a 35-24, 12 coming from Douglas.

After the break, the Senators turned on the jets. They would go on to outscore Seaford 50-29 over the final 16 minutes to get their third win in a row, their longest winning streak since they started the season 4-0.

The Senators are back in action on Tuesday, Feb. 9th at 7:15 p.m. when they host rival Caesar Rodney, while Seaford travels to Laurel on Monday, tip-off set for 6:15 p.m.
