Dover Police search for suspect in liquor store robbery

Dover Police Department is currently searching for a male suspect involved in a liquor store robbery late Friday night.

Reports say the suspect entered H & H Liquors located at 1100 block of South DuPont Highway in Dover at about 10:20 PM Friday. The suspects then reportedly told the clerk he was armed with a gun and demanded money. The victim reportedly opened the cash register and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. Then he reportedly fled north from the business towards Evergreen Drive.

With the help of police K-9, officials say they were able to track the suspect to the area of River View Estates mobile home park. But once officers checked that mobile home park, they reportedly could not find the suspect.

The suspect was last seen wearing tan boots and pants, with a black leather jacket and gray hoodie. He was also spotted wearing gloves and a piece of cloth covering his face.
