Deadline approaching for health insurance sign-up in Delaware

Delawareans only have two days left to sign up for health insurance before facing a tax penalty.
State health officials say residents who miss the Sunday deadline will likely have to wait to sign up for coverage until the next enrollment season with coverage starting in 2016.
According to the Delaware Department of Health and Human Services, more than 21,000 people across the state have signed up for coverage.
Consumers can review and compare health plans online and find out if they are eligible for financial assistance, which can help pay monthly premiums and reduce out-of-pocket costs when receiving services. For more information, visit the Choose Health Delaware website.
