Cape May-Lewes Ferry breaks through ice

Cape May-Lewes Ferry (“CMLF”) officials announced on Sunday round-trips will operate as scheduled, after ice accumulation on the waters halted operations for three days.

According to officials, the MV New Jersey ferry vessel and tug operations were successful in breaking through the ice accumulation in the Cape May Canal and Delaware.

The first trip was scheduled to take off from Cape May at 7:45 a.m. Sunday morning.

Travelers who plan to use the CMLF on Monday are urged to the call the CMLF Guest Services Center at 1-800-643-3779 or visit their website.
