Worcestor Co. Animal Control urges rabies vaccinations

Worcester County Animal Control is urging residents to get a rabies vaccination for their pets.

There have apparently been two raccoons found in the Northern end of the county, both testing positive for rabies. Officials say one came in contact with a domestic dog.

They recommend that pet owners check their records and make sure all their pets are up to date on a rabies vaccination.

The Worcester County Animal Control Center has two rabies clinics coming up this spring.
