Willards man arrested on drug charges during Salisbury traffic stop

A Willards man has been charged, after Police reportedly found drugs during a traffic stop.
The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says on Friday, around 2:25 PM, a Deputy stopped a vehicle on Richmond Avenue, for speeding. During the stop, the Deputy says the driver, 33-year-old Rip Scotton, seemed really nervous, so the WCSO Drug K9 team was called to respond to the scene.
Once on scene, Scotton reportedly handed over an unlabeled prescription bottle with suboxone inside.
Scotton was arrested, and charged with possession of CDS, and obliterate a prescription drug label. After an initial appearance with the District Court Commissioner, Scotton was released on $25,000 bond.
