UPDATE: Additional charges for West OC business owner accused of solicitation of a minor

Investigators in Worcester County say a local guitar instructor arrested back in December for solicitation of a minor, is now facing additional charges.
The Worcester County Bureau of Investigation says after announcing the arrest of David Weatherholtz, a victim contacted investigators. According to the report, the victim, who was a minor at the time, said that years ago Weatherholtz brought him to a home in West Ocean City.
While at the home, the victim reportedly told authorities that Weatherholtz sexually assaulted him and said he wouldn’t bring him home unless he performed certain sexual acts.
Weatherholtz, the owner of the “O.C. Jamboree” in West Ocean City, is now additionally charged with sex abuse of a minor, 2nd degree assault, perverted practice, sex offense 4th degree, sodomy, and false imprisonment. He is now being held at the Worcester County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
Detectives say they believe that there are more victims, due to comments Weatherholtz made during the investigation. Investigators say other victims may have also taken lessons from Weatherholtz or been involved in theatrical productions at “O.C. Jamboree.”
