Two arrested on heroin charges in Lewes

A three month investigation into drug sales in Lewes, has led to the arrest of two men.
Delaware State Police say on Thursday, around 6:30 AM, the Sussex County Drug Task Force, the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force, and DSP Special Operations Response Team responded to a home on Cinnamon Lane in the development of Angola Beach and Estates.
Once on scene, the Authorities say they searched the home, and took 31-year-old Calvin Ushery, and 42-year-old Allen Simmons into custody without incident. Police say during the search, they found 253 bags of heroin, totaling 3.795 grams, along with two Ruger rifles, a fully loaded .38 caliber revolver, and drug paraphernalia.
Ushery was charged with maintaining a drug property, and is now being held on $5,000 bond at the Sussex Correctional Institution.
Simmons was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited, possession of a controlled substance – heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at SCI on $50,200 cash bond.
