Smyrna Man Wanted On Armed Robbery Charges

Police in Smyrna are looking for a suspect in connection to an armed robbery that occurred last fall. Smyrna Police say on October 31st, 2014 around 11:00 PM, Officers responded to to an apartment in Peach Circle, for reports of an armed robbery.

Once on scene, Police say they found that two suspects had gone into the apartment, pulled out a gun and held it to the victim’s head, while demanding property. According to the report, the suspects fled without any property.

Detectives have been investigating the incident, and say they have linked 23-year-old Roy Kolaco, of Smyrna, to the crime, as the suspect with the firearm. A second suspect is still apparently unknown.

Police are now looking for Kolaco on charges of attempted robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, aggravated menacing, and offensive touching.
