Second Half Propels Wolverines Past Nittany Lions

The Wesley men’s basketball team improved to 5-2 in conference, with their 85-69 home win over Penn State Harrisburg, Wednesday night. 

The Wolverines jumped out to an early 9 point lead (16-7) to start the first half, and took a 36-28 lead into the locker room.

Wesley stretched their lead throughout the second half, but the Nittanly Lions hung tough, getting within 6 points (57-51) before the Wolverines stepped on the gas, putting up a total of 49 points in the second half. 

The Wolverines look to stretch their winning streak to three games when they host St. Mary’s (MD) Saturday afternoon, tip-off is set for 3:30.
