Red Lion Crushes Delmarva Christian

The Lions of Red Lion Christian Academy used a fast paced offense, and some stingy defense to take down Delmarva Christian 74-22, Saturday afternoon in Georgetown.

The barrage started early, when Lions freshman guard Jalin Robinson scored 10 of his 16 points in the first quarter, to give Red Lions 18-6 lead. In the second, the Royals would show fight, putting up 12 points, to Red Lions 18, still, the Lions went into the locker room with the 36-18 lead.

Red Lion would come out of the locker room blazing, rattling off the first 19 points of the quarter. Seth Wampler poured in 12 of his game-high 22 points in the third, while the Lions pushed their lead, holding Delmarva Christian to just four points in the quarter. Things would only get worse, as the Royals were shutout in the fourth.

Matt Dykstra dropped in a team high 8 points for Delmarva Christian, while Joshua Dekker totaled 5. The Royals are back in action Tuesday night when they host Holly Grove.
