PRMC delivers first 2015 baby at 10:38 PM

One local hospital had to wait quite a while, before delivering their first baby of 2015.
Peninsula Regional Medical Center says their first baby, a little girl named Keelyn Perry, arrived at 10:38 PM on Thursday, to parents Joanne and Doug Perry, of Somerset County. January 1st, was apparently Keelyn’s due date, so she arrived right on time!
Keelyn, born at 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long, joins two brothers, Tristan, 3, and Liam, 20 months, who were apparently eagerly awaiting her arrival.
Officials at PRMC say Keelyn received a gift basket filled with goodies and necessities from the Junior Auxiliary Board of the hospital. Nearly 2,000 babies are reportedly born at PRMC every year.
