Noel Community in Ocean City hosting gLOVE drive in February

A local non-profit is asking area residents to help warm the heads, hands, and hearts of those less fortunate, by donating warm accessories. This Valentine’s Day, the Noel Community is hoping residents will donate new gloves, hats, socks, and blankets for its outreach program, during its gLOVE Drive.

Donations of warm items can be dropped off between February 2nd and 14th at the Ocean Pines Library on Cathell Road. The Noel Community says they will also be accepting donations at all masses over the weekend of February 15th at St. Paul’s by the Sea Episcopal Church on 3rd Street, The Church of the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church on 100th Street, Holy Savior Catholic Church on 17th Street, and St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Talbot Street.

Once collected, donations will be handed out to several local food pantries, low income day care facilities, and other groups that provide social services to those in need.
