Monitor your kids’ temperature through phone applications

If you are caring for a loved one who is sick at home, your smart phone may make the process more manageable.
“Kinsa,” a phone application with a “smart thermometer” that can connect a phone, has the ability to take a temperature, and allow the user to track it.
Another device, “Temp Track,” is reportedly on the way to getting FDA approved. This allows you to monitor a user’s temperature through a patch, that will also send updates directly to a phone. If the user’s temperature goes high, an alarm will sound.
Despite the convenience, experts say, sticking to a regular thermometer will likely give the best feedback.
