Maryland counties see increase in graduation rates

Dorchester County’s graduation rate has risen above the Maryland State Average.
The county has a current rate of 87.9%. This is more than 1.5% above the national average, this is up from their county’s rates in previous years.
Other counties on the shore have shown improvement as well.
It looks like Somerset County rose 8.5 percentage points to 86%.
Caroline County sits at 81.9%, Wicomico County 84.4%, Worcester County 91.1%, Talbot 91.7%, and Queen Anne’s County rounds out the list with 93.9% for their graduation rate.
