Harrington woman charged with identity theft

A Harrington woman was arrested on Monday, on identity theft charges.
Harrington Police say back in October they were contacted by a woman, who said as she was checking her credit report, she found that someone tried to get two credit cards using her information, but used an address on Arkansas Drive, in Harrington.
Detectives say they then contacted the credit card companies, and found information leading to 44-year-old Lisa Kellam as a suspect. Police say they found that Kellam had come by the victim’s information at her previous place of employment.
Warrants were put together for Kellam’s arrest, and on January 5th, she turned herself in to Harrington Police. Kellam was then charged with two counts of identity theft, and released on $8,000 unsecured bond.
