Governor- Elect Hogan appoints Secretary of Transportation

Governor-elect Larry Hogan is in the process of building his inner circle, and he announced the appointments Tuesday in Annapolis.

Pete Rahn was appointed to the position of Secretary of Transportation. Rahn previously served as the cabinet secretary for the New Mexico Department of Transportation from 1995 to 2002 and he also led the Missouri State Department of Transportation from 2004 to 2010.

Hogan also announced Tim Hutchins as Director of Homeland Security, Senator Christopher Shank as Director of the Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention, Steve McAdams as Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives, Arlene Lee as Executive Director of the Governor’s Office for Children, Bob Scholz as Governor’s Counsel, Delegate Keiffer Mitchell as Special Adviser to the Governor, and Delegate Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio as Director of Intergovernmental Services.
