Gold alert issued for missing Milford man

Authorities in Milford have issued a gold alert for a missing man. Milford Police say they are looking for 24-year-old Garry Lynn Gabbard Jr., who was staying at the Travelers Inn in Milford, but can’t currently be found.

Gabbard, who is described as a white male, standing 6′ 2″ tall, weighting 180 pounds, was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a white tank top underneath, with grey sweat pants. Police say Gabbard does wear glasses, and may be wearing or carrying a black beanie hat.

According to the report, there is credible concern for Gabbard’s well being. Police say he may be armed. Officials reportedly searched the woods North of the Milford Wal-Mart, but didn’t locate him.
