DSU Men’s Basketball Top South Carolina St.
The Delaware State University men’s basketball topped South Carolina State Saturday night 60-49. The win improves the Hornets to 8-9.
DSU would find themselves in a hole early on after the Bulldogs were on fire from beyond the arc. As the lead grew, the Hornets finally found their groove, led by Kendall Gray. The Polytech grad would exploded, finishing around the rim through contact, as well as controlling their rim defensively. Gray would finish with 16 points, 23 rebounds, 5 blocks, and 5 assists. The Bulldogs would take the lead into the break, but the Hornets would come out firing in the second half and eventually go on to take the game handily.
DSU returns to action Monday when they host Savannah St.
