Dover Girls Basketball Downs Woodbridge

The Dover girls basketball team took down Woodbridge Monday 55-45. The win improves the Senators to 8-3 while the loss drops the Blue Raiders to 8-2.

Dover would jump out to the quick lead after their guards would score in the open court. The Senators would run a full court press and it turned the Blue Raiders over consistently, leading to several easy buckets the other way. The Blue Raiders would hang in there though thanks to their length and rebounding down low. Dover would take a 24-18 lead into halftime, but take over in the third quarter to put it away. 

Dover returns to action Tuesday when they travel to Sussex Tech, while Woodbridge returns to the court Tuesday when they travel to play Seaford.
