Delaware man arrested after apologizing for crime on Facebook

A Delaware man is now behind bars after authorities say he stole money from his grandmother and apologized to her on Facebook.

Back in November, Harrington police say Mark Parker, 24, stole his grandmother’s debit card and her check book. He allegedly used the money at several different locations.

Afterwards, Parker apparently took to Facebook and apologized to his grandmother for using her debit cards and forging the checks. The victim reported the apology to police and Parker was arrested in New Castle County on December 29th.

Parker now faces a multitude of charges, including four counts of unlawful use of a credit card and second degree forgery. He is being held on bond.
