Decatur Girls Roll Past Crisfield

The Stephen Decatur girls basketball team took down Crisfield Monday night 71-21. The win improves the Seahawks to 12-1, while the loss drops the Crabbers to 4-10.

the Seahawks jumped out to the quick lead led by their back court of Jillian Petito and Dayona Godwin. Both would manage the offensive beautifully, setting up their bigs in positions to score, while also being aggressive when the opportunity presented itself. Quickly the lead swelled to double digits as the Crabbers found themselves in a big hole. Godwin would continue a score steadily throughout the game as she would go on to finish with a game high 31 points in this one. To their credit, the Crabbers continued to fight, regardless the score.
