Death investigation ongoing in Worcester County
A death investigation is ongoing in Worcester County, involving a 23-year-old man.
According to the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office, last Monday, police and EMS were called to the Bay Terrace Apartments in Berlin around 7:50 a.m. where the man reportedly suffered a head injury.
Reports say he was taken to PRMC where he underwent multiple surgeries and later died. Authorities believe the man may have fallen down a flight a steps and then later in the street, but they say it’s too early to determine exactly how the injuries were caused.
An autopsy was performed on Wednesday in Baltimore; however, we’re told the results are not expected to arrive for another 6 to 8 weeks.
