Code Purple issued for homeless women in Milford

A Delaware agency has released an invitation to homeless woman in Milford.

The Homeless Planning Counsel of Delaware says they are issuing a Code Purple of the night of January 2nd.

This code allows homeless women, and women with children, to stay at the Milford Community Center, as the temperatures are expected to drop below 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

The community center is on NE Front Street in Milford, next to the Rite Aid, and across from the Milford Senior Center.
