Cape Henlopen falls in second straight game to Concord
Cape Henlopen hosted Concord on Friday night in Lewes, and it turned out to be a long night for the Vikings after falling to the Raiders, 62-37.
Concord started off the game with a strong first quarter taking an early lead scoring 18 points in the first quarter over Cape’s 8 points. The second quarter score between the teams was a a bit closer with only a one point difference, but at half – the score was 28-17.
The second half was all Raiders outscoring the Vikings 34-20. Cape was trying to get their offense generating, but their shots were not falling and that happens, but they must shake off these past few games with a fresh start for next week.
The Raiders had a solid performance on the night winning the game 62-37.
