Body found in Delaware motel sparks death investigation

A death investigation is now underway in New Castle County, after a man was found dead in his motel room.

According to Delaware State Police, an employee of the Days Inn on Churchmans Road was checking on the tenants welfare Saturday afternoon, when he found the man’s body.

Reports say Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and eventually called for Delaware State Police and officials from the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control.
