Big Second Half Pushes Mardela Past Queen Anne’s
The Mardela girls basketball team overcame a slow start to defeat Queen Anne’s 79-56. The win improves the Warriors to 8-0.

But the Warriors came out firing in the second half. Demyra Selby opened the period with a fast break lay in, followed by a steal for another lay up. Once she gave her team life, the rest of the team followed suit. Dymond Trader found her shooting touch, connecting on mid range jumpers, while Taylor Ross found her shot as well. Ross finished with a game high 25, while Selby chipped in 23.
